The Westinghouse 0110000 Saf-T-Brace combines an expandable metal brace with a 15.5-cubic-inch dual-mount electrical box, allowing installation from below the ceiling while keeping wiring and fixture hardware in one supported assembly.

The brace supports ceiling fans up to 70 pounds. For light fixtures, its stated capacity is 150 pounds on 16-inch joist centers or 50 pounds on 24-inch centers. Six knockouts accept Romex or conduit, and one Romex connector is included. The package also provides the electrical box, Saf-T-Cap, mounting hardware and instructions for the silver unfinished assembly.
