Lawn and garden insect killer granules control more than 100 listed pests above and below the soil surface while protecting approved lawns, fruits, vegetables, ornamentals, shrubs, flowers and ground covers. Sevin combines zeta-cypermethrin and bifenthrin for contact control of ants, ticks, fleas, aphids, armyworms, beetles, cutworms, chinch bugs and other labeled insects.

Pour the granules into a broadcast or belly spreader, distribute them evenly at the label rate, sweep stray product from hard surfaces back onto the treatment area and water immediately. Apply preventively or at the first sign of damage. The detailed rate is one to four pounds per 1,000 square feet depending on the pest and site, and specified control lasts up to three months. Choose a 10- or 20-pound bag, keep granules off open blooms and allow people and pets to return only after dust has settled.
