Young Rabbit Food with Timothy and Alfalfa Hay, Uniform High-Fiber Pellets in a Single 4 lb Bag
Young Rabbit Food with Timothy and Alfalfa Hay, Uniform High-Fiber Pellets in a Single 4 lb Bag
Young rabbit food combines Timothy and alfalfa hay in uniform, high-fiber pellets for growing, pregnant or nursing rabbits. Oxbow Garden Select delivers a consistent 4-pound formula with garden ingredients, stabilized vitamins and chelated minerals.
Measure portions using the package directions and provide unlimited suitable hay plus fresh water. The uniform pellets reduce selective feeding, while alfalfa supplies the richer protein and calcium profile commonly used for growth and reproduction. The source also lists yellow peas, tomatoes, rosemary and thyme, with no artificial preservatives, colors or flavors. Transition gradually over several days and monitor appetite, stool, weight and activity. Confirm the rabbit’s life stage before feeding; adult maintenance rabbits may require a different pellet and hay balance than young, pregnant or nursing animals. The food is listed for rabbits from one month of age, but individual weaning and medical needs require veterinary guidance. Store the bag sealed in a cool, dry place and discard damp, moldy or contaminated pellets. Reduced eating or stool output needs prompt exotic-animal veterinary care.
