Unscented Wood Pellet Litter for Pet Birds and Small Animals, 8-lb Bag in Single or Six-Pack Options
Unscented Wood Pellet Litter for Pet Birds and Small Animals, 8-lb Bag in Single or Six-Pack Options
Unscented wood pellet litter provides an absorbent habitat base for pet birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and other small animals. Kaytee processes the natural wood pellets to reduce dust and debris, while the non-clinging texture supports quicker removal during routine enclosure cleaning.
Choose the documented single bag or listed six-pack option. The single package is described as eight pounds, 4.9 liters and 300 cubic inches, while variant labels use a volume-based pack name; verify the selected pack quantity before ordering. Pour an appropriate layer into a clean, dry habitat and remove wet or soiled pellets frequently. Processed low-dust litter can still release particles, so add it gently with ventilation and monitor animals with respiratory sensitivity. Wood pellets expand as they hold moisture; do not allow deep wet buildup or place them where expansion can block drainage. Keep unused bags dry and away from heat, flame, pests and chemicals. Replace the full litter bed when odor, moisture, insects or mold persists. This substrate does not replace species-appropriate nesting material, sanitary cleaning or veterinary advice for respiratory, skin or urinary problems.
