Dog flea and tick topical treatment combines fipronil and S-methoprene to kill adult fleas, eggs, larvae, ticks and chewing lice while helping break the flea life cycle. FRONTLINE Plus gives extra-large dogs a convenient single-point application for thirty days of protection.

This Red Box formula is for dogs weighing eighty-nine to 132 pounds and is available in three-, six- or eight-dose packs. Dogs and puppies must be at least eight weeks old. Apply one complete applicator to a single point on the skin according to the package directions; the formula spreads through the coat’s oil glands and becomes waterproof twenty-four hours after application. Use one correct weight-specific dose every month and do not divide a tube, combine sizes or estimate a dose from another dog’s package. This dog-only formula must never be applied to cats. Prevent licking and keep other animals and children from contacting the wet site until it is dry. Wash hands after use and follow the label for bathing and repeat timing. Consult a veterinarian before treating an ill, medicated, pregnant or nursing dog or if skin irritation appears. During an infestation, check every pet with species-appropriate care and clean bedding and living areas so newly emerging fleas do not immediately return to the dog.
