Splitting Maul with 36-Inch IsoCore Shock-Control Handle, Forged Steel Head and Protective Sheath – Fiskars
Splitting Maul with 36-Inch IsoCore Shock-Control Handle, Forged Steel Head and Protective Sheath – Fiskars
A splitting maul combines a broad forged-steel head with a long handle to open medium, large and extra-large firewood logs. The selected Fiskars Pro IsoCore 8 lb Maul uses advanced blade geometry and balanced weight distribution to drive into tough wood efficiently, while its 36-inch length gives taller users and anyone who prefers a longer tool added leverage.
The IsoCore Shock Control System reduces the strike shock and vibration transferred through the handle, and an extended textured grip with a slip-reducing flare helps keep swings controlled. An inseparably riveted head and overstrike protection support demanding yard work, while the included sheath covers the blade between jobs. Choose 2.5-, 6- or 8-pound styles, including a listed two-pack of the 2.5-pound version, according to the wood and swing weight required.
