Cat and Kitten Flea and Tick Shampoo with Pyrethrins, Unscented Conditioning Formula for Cats 12 Weeks and Older, 8 Fl Oz – Advantage
Cat flea and tick shampoo kills fleas and ticks on contact while washing and conditioning the coat in one bath. Advantage provides an unscented lathering formula for adult cats and kittens at least twelve weeks old, with no prescription required.
The eight-fluid-ounce bottle contains 0.150% pyrethrins, 0.300% piperonyl butoxide and 0.479% MGK 264 insecticide synergist. Wet the cat’s coat with warm water for two to three minutes, then apply and lather the shampoo in the order described on the label while keeping it out of the eyes, ears and mouth. Work carefully around the head, footpads, underbody and base of the tail. Leave the lather in place for five minutes, then rinse thoroughly and dry the cat in a warm area. Use no more often than once every seven days and only when needed. Confirm the cat’s age and review the label before each bath, especially if another flea or tick product is already in use. Do not use on kittens younger than twelve weeks, and ask a veterinarian before treating an ill, medicated, pregnant or nursing cat. Keep the bottle away from children and other animals, prevent licking during the bath and stop use if irritation or another unwanted response occurs.
